Our client is seeking a talented and proven Sales Managers for their UK office in the South West. Candidates should possess a first class track record in securing new business, generating additional business with existing clients and developing a robust and profitable network of partners.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Initiating contact from client prospects
Identification and development of new sales opportunities
Meeting with potential new clients to sell, negotiate
Management and development of new and existing client accounts & relationships.
Internet research:
Generate business via Internet marketing research
Sourcing names and contacts through trade journals, exhibitor lists and electronic publications
Contact and follow up people who may be interested in the clients products.
Exhibitions:
Source and attend exhibitions on behalf of the client
Look for appropriate partner companies, gain contacts, follow up and develop partnerships for supplying Digital TV software.
Meetings
Attend industry meetings to learn, promote and network with attendees
Represent the client at meetings with partners and suppliers.
General business development
Assist with development of the client's strategic business plans; contribute to newsletter, input to marketing mix.
Job requirements:
Educated to degree level
Proven experience in a sales/business development role.
Qualities:
Dynamic, self-motivated and able to work to own initiative
Strong attention to detail and process management skills
Aptitude for building strong external relationships
Able to work under pressure, solve problems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Some travel will be required
