Night Shift Manager/Production Manager/Shift Manager (40 hours, 10 6)

Over the last 24 years, our client has built an enviable reputation as market leader in supplying the finest international dishes to Pubs, Restaurants, Hotels, Travel and Leisure, Business and Industry, Healthcare and Education across the UK and Europe.
They are now looking for a Night Shift Manager to join them at their Stockport Office to ensure efficient production, teamwork and departmental improvement on a day to day and week to week basis.
Within this role you will manage staff and oversee the complete shift & liaise with management/engineer on call and make them aware of any issues that may affect production and KPI achievement. Managing the performance and development of all team members, assuring the appropriate training and recognition is provided you will also ensure all health, safety, welfare and environmental awareness is carried out at all times. You will work proactively with the engineering, technical and HR departments as well as managing the departmental budget. Ensuring the set up of equipment for the following shift you will enhance the smooth running at the start of every shift.
The successful candidate for this position will have previous experience in a food production environment and ideally hold a food related qualification however this is not essential. With past people management and supervisory experience you will have a can do attitude with the ability to work from your own initiative. You will have extensive health and safety knowledge coupled with excellent communication skills.
As well as the excellent salary package you will also have the potential to earn £1k bonus, twice annual salary life assurance, 25 days hols plus birthday off and bank hols, 5% pension contributions and free fruit on Tuesdays.
