A remarkable opportunity has become available with one of the world's leading information and data providers, to join as a Group Financial Accountant/Associate in their finance division. This organisation is truly a global outfit, operating out some 10 countries worldwide and currently undergoing rapid growth - both organically and through an aggressive M&A programme. The client is seeking a technically strong, qualified accountant (ACA preferred) to take up a role with high level purpose, assisting in the preparation of the group`s statutory accounts, treasury management and balance sheet control and responsibility. Further to this there will be opportunities for involvement in the integration of future acquisitions as well as ad hoc project based roles in the firm`s fast paced, acquisitive group.
The successful candidate will have strong PLC and group reporting experience, and will have trained in a big four practice. Valuable UK GAAP and IFRS experience are also essential, along with experience of working with internal and external auditors and control practices. Prior practice in international operations at a group level is a requisite, combined with excellent communication, team-working and systems skills (SAP, Excel, Word and Powerpoint).
