Our client has been serving client since 2000. Specialising in ‘total solutions’ for SMEs, they deliver a range of services including network and development. An opportunity has now arisen for an ASP.NET Developer to join their team.
For this role our client is looking to recruit an ambitious developer with a strong skill set. As such, applications from both junior and senior level candidates are invited. A competitive salary, great benefits and a superb working environment all make this a position not to be missed.
As an ASP.NET Developer you will be responsible for a range of duties including solutions design, development, support and testing. You will also provide support to other members of the team and project managers. In the future, there may be the potential to be involved in iPhone application development.
To be considered for this position, you must have some commercial development experience and the following skill set:
- Excellent knowledge of ASP.NET 2
- Experience of MSDE (Microsoft Data Engine), SQL 2000/2005, TSQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers & Cursors
- Knowledge of CSS, SEO and Ajax
As the ASP.NET Developer you will also need to demonstrate the ability to work individually or as part of a team. Excellent communication skills are also essential, as is a desire to work with the latest technologies and methodologies.
Any of the following would be beneficial to your application: knowledge of the .NET Framework 3.5 and WPF; knowledge of Photoshop; knowledge of Agile methodologies; an MCP qualification; testing experience.
