Hygiene Manager – Food Job – Shropshire - £££’s highly competitive – Day Shift
Hygiene Manager required by a market leading food manufacturer which produces their premium chilled product to supply all the major retailers from their operation based in Shropshire.
The opportunity:
This is a newly created Hygiene Manager position to support the technical function. The role:
Based on a permanent Monday to Friday day shift you will be responsible for managing the whole hygiene agenda including amenities, contracts and budgets, whilst ensuring the effectiveness of the hygiene team, consisting of up to 40 staff. This position has a technical focus, you will be required to look at the current processes, making recommendations for improvement with regards to efficiencies and costs.
The candidate:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Hygiene Manager within the chilled food manufacturing industry. You will have effective leadership skills with the ability to influence and direct the team. Strong communication skills at all levels are required, with experience of presenting to Senior Management.
It is essential that you have previously worked within a chilled food manufacturing organisation at Hygiene Manager level, with experience of managing laundry, deep clean and the coordination of outsourced hygiene and site services. You must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of spearheading and implementing change within a food manufacturing environment. A sound technical knowledge and understanding is essential.
