Our client, a leader within the Utilities (Oil & Gas) sector, are looking for an experienced Risk Analyst to report in to the Group Information Risk & Compliance Manager. You will be seen as a subject matter expert for IT Risk and Controls, providing advice and support to UK and North American Business Units. Their Risk & Compliance function comprises risk management, IT controls compliance and SAP and process Specialists working with Group and Business Unit staff to ensure risks to their IS estate are appropriately managed through controls implementation, monitoring and reporting.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Experience in a business environment with knowledge of risk and security IT controls.
- Strong Stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Proven analytical skills and the ability to analyse complex information.
- Experience of technical security issues and controls.
- Knowledge of current information security good practices, standards, risk methodologies and relevant legal, financial and regulatory legislation.
- Worked with CObIT, ISO27001 or other defined IT controls frameworks.
- Understands the definition of business risks presented by IS and how to analyse the trade-off between risk mitigation and business value.
