Advertising Sales Executive / Business Development Manager – Digital Advertising

£30,000 - £40,000 Plus Commission
Our client is a growing medical publisher, producing a range of print and electronic healthcare publications, including the highly acclaimed Patient Picture, Fast Facts and Embarrassing Problems. Their goal is to advance the practice of medicine by providing clear, understandable and relevant information both to healthcare professionals and the public. An opportunity has now arisen for an Advertising Sales Executive / Business Development Manager to join their team.
As an Advertising Sales Executive / Business Development Manager you will be responsible for selling digital advertising on our client’s websites and developing long term relationships with key digital planners and buyers within the healthcare industry.
Focusing on developing new business, you will also manage existing accounts. You will tailor presentations to specific clients, pitching ideas at a senior level within the public sector, pharmaceutical and consumer companies and the NHS.
To be considered for the role of Advertising Sales Executive / Business Development Manager, you must have proven experience of digital advertising from one or more of the following areas:
- digital advertising sales
- planning and buying digital advertising campaigns
- experience of account management, gained within a digital advertising agency
Additionally, you must have excellent communication skills and a detailed knowledge of digital advertising. You will also know how clients plan and buy digital media and be able to prove your ability to generate new contacts and revenue streams.
