Our client has a requirement for an HR Advisor in Uxbridge on a contract basis.
Manage recruitment for staff and contract positions in Uxbridge, Algeria and for all Project EPC locations: United Arab Emirates (); Italy ).
Manage the HR aspects associated with the migration/mobilisation of staff and contractors to Site, in particular the move from all the El Merk EPC offices to the Algerian Sahara El Merk Site.Point of contact for Expatriates ensuring effective communication and administration of expatriate policies. Provide policy advice; relocation assistance re housing, schooling process; organise temporary housing; process quarterly table updates and communicate to payroll and employee; process relocation expenses, home leave, R&R and auto assistance requests etc; record and report imputed income.
Monitor, act as contact point and deal with administration for Private Health Care (BUPA) and the Childcare Voucher scheme. Includes day to day employee queries; monthly submission of data to Lorica; annual data for renewals of scheme; source new providers where necessary; monitor performance of service providers.
Advise employees and supervisors on Family Friendly policies. documentation; payroll changes.
Compensation advice to new and existing staff, compensation recommendations to managers in line with salary structure, market data etc, day to day queries from staff about various benefit programmes.
Employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance, absence and performance issues. Ensuring process is followed as per AAC policy, coaching supervisors and attending meetings, keeping appropriate records and documentation.
Maintain an awareness of developments in UK and EU legislation and how these might effect client's operations.
Assist in the development and preparation of HR Department Process Manual
Track, code and file HR related invoices.
Conduct Market Analyses as necessary to ascertain competitive contractor rates
Train managers and employees on HR topics when necessary, eg Performance Review procedures.
Qualifications:
Educated to degree level, CIPD or equivalent
Required Experience:
HR Generalist (strong recruitment element) experience in a fast moving dynamic organisation with international operations
Computer literate in Microsoft Office with experience in employee databases, preferably PeopleSoft
Experience within the oil and gas industry supporting expatriates and recruiting international contractors would be an advantage
Additional skill sets/experience:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
French language an advantage
