THE COMPANY

THE POSITION
• Utilises computer application software (e.g. Odyssey, SPA and GradeX) to design,develop and test the diagnostic routines for implementation on the Authorised Repairer (AR) diagnostic tool such as IDS / EtisIDS
• Validates and signs-off SBD and service routines using simulation, rigs and vehicle as necessary.
• Publishes (via Odyssey) the diagnostic routines as executable software updates on IDS / EtisIDS
• Leads in the control of sub-contractor efforts to provide diagnostic application
software deliverables
• Verifies that application software has been produced in line with the design intent
• Assists in the coordination of the diagnostic software validation with the software sub-contractor and appropriate validation engineer as required
• Provides timely resolution of ADMS concerns arising during diagnostic validation or end user field use
• Assists in diagnostic hardware validation when required
• Design and implement IDS toolbox service functions
• Maintain IDS classic help screens, diagnostic tests and datalogger functionality
• Construct images using C3P, Illustrator and Photoshop, both for wiring and instruction information
• Development and documentation of working processes
• Mentor new users in application of software
THE PERSON
• HND/Degree in Engineering/ Electronics arena
• Working knowledge of Automotive Electro-mechanical Systems
• Knowledge of electronics, networks and diagnostic approaches
