Java J2EE Developer with excellent experience of developing within an eCommerce or 3-Tier web based environment is sought by our client a global tier one Investment bank in London (City). Your commercial Java J2EE development experience should include JSP, Servlets, JUnit, XML/XHTML, HTML, Oracle, SQL and JavaScript. You should also have good Object Oriented Development experience and knowledge of design patterns. Ideally you will have experience of working with Spring 3.0, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Struts, Tiles, jQuery and Unix. WebSphere Application Server experience is desirable but not essential. Working closely with both the business and the project teams, you will take part in the design, development and integration of on-line applications within the overall eBusiness Programme. You will also be required to perform ongoing maintenance and enhancements of eBusiness systems. Strong financial services experience is an advantage as is a background in Agile development.
