Our client is a market leading supplier of specialist equipment to remove waste from vehicles. With a growing customer base across Europe, they work with end of vehicle life specialists, rail companies, vehicle leasing companies and breakdown recovery companies. An opportunity has now arisen for a Marketing Assistant to join their team.
This exciting role would suit a marketing graduate (or equivalent) or someone looking to develop their marketing experience with an industry leader.
As the Marketing Assistant you will be responsible for generating new business through a variety of marketing activities. This is a new position that will see you work closely with the MD. Over time, it’s envisaged you will take over the marketing entirely and develop your own department around you.
Specifically, you will be tasked with implementing the overall marketing strategy, providing relevant media with editorial, updating the company websites and carrying out market research. You will also gather and input information on to the company CMS as well as develop marketing materials.
The company carries out several focussed marketing campaigns each year predominantly around European trade shows. As well as maintaining day to day marketing activity, you will be responsible for planning these campaigns and producing materials to attract visitors to these shows.
To be considered for this position, you must have a marketing degree (or equivalent) or experience in a similar marketing role. You will also need to demonstrate good IT skills, including proficiency using Photoshop or similar.
Building effective relationships with both clients and customers is also a key part of this position; therefore the ideal Marketing Assistant will also have excellent English communication skills and a willingness to attend trade shows when required.
