THE COMPANY

My client design and manufacture mechanical pipeline connectors and hydraulic tightening tools. They are world renowned for their products which are used globally across a whole range of industries including: Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Power Generation. In these uncertain times they are continuing to invest in their greatest asset - their employees.

THE POSITION

• Ensure correct competency of manpower for job requirements.

• Liaise with Manpower Allocator to determine correct skill levels and availability are mobilised to site

• Liaise with operations and key account teams to plan ahead for manpower requirements

• Monitors costs of the deployment of manpower

• Arrange P.P.E requirements for technicians as necessary

• Liaise with Global Manpower Manager for technician issues that occur.

• Ensure correct certification is in place for technicians i.e. Survival, CCNSG

• Liaise with Training Department to arrange for external training requirements.

• Liaise with Key Accounts to arrange for site inductions/training.

• Ensure appraisal forms are completed and passed to Manpower Resource Department

• Communicate mobilisation details to technicians.

• Participate in the operations on-call rota.

• Liaise with Logistics Department to arrange technician transport and accommodation.

• Deliver of forecast information when required

• Adhere safety procedures produce method statements and risk assessments

• To produce bolt load calculations when requested

• Adhere at all times to the organizations Golden Safety Rules

• Producing quality quotations

• Undertaking site visits if requested

• Tracking rental equipment as required both UK and international / inter company

• Tracking of costs for projects and submitting of data for invoicing

THE PERSON

• Mechanical Engineering background, HNC Mechanical Engineering qualification

• Previous site experience preferred

• Previous experience within an operations role

• Experience of preparing technical quotations

• Experience of utilizing equipment and manpower

• Experience and capable of responding to technical questions/issues from customers and sales team

• Experience of site surveys and site visits

• Excellent written and oral communication

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
