Job Details
Part time position 15 hours per week, valid enhanced CRB essential to cover sickness.
To ensure tenants receive a high quality service, providing support where necessary, whilst encouraging a sense of independence.
Court Management:
Runs a fully operational office
Maintains all records and equipment
Records and maintains court finances fully and accurately
Marketing, Voids, Lettings and Tenancies:
Provides appropriate and accurate information to direct enquiries
Attends accompanied viewings and manage the lettings procedure
Liaises with local authority housing department
Rent Accounting:
Monitors rent accounts
Provides accurate benefit advice or facilitates such through a reputable external advisor
Budgeting:
Assists Housing Services Managers to monitor Court expenditure
Requests and receives quotes from contractors for Term Contracts for Garden Maintenance, Window Cleaning, and Contract Cleaners where appropriate
Court Maintenance:
Co-ordinates the day-to-day repairs
Responds appropriately to emergency repairs
Assists in the planning and implementation of the Capital Works Programme
Health and Safety:
Responsible for own Health & Safety ensuring a safe working environment for colleagues.
Monitors all aspects of health and safety on Court
Care:
Develops and maintains effective relationships with external agencies
Has involvement in the co-ordination of care packages
Good general standard of education
Previous exposure to working with the elderly
NVQ Level II Care qualification or equivalent (desirable)
Supervisory exposure (desirable)
Housing or Care-related working knowledge (desirable)
Knowledge of Health and Safety
Knowledge of services and benefits available to the elderly
Knowledge of Statutory and Voluntary Support Agencies for the elderly (desirable)
