Export / Logistics Team Leader
Based: West Lothian

My client, a well known and well respected pharmaceutical service company with offices in West Lothian are looking to recruit an experienced Export / Logistics Team Leader to join their team.
In this role you will join the Logistics department to assist in the day-to-day management of the post-study team, the team is customer facing and will provide a focal point for client enquiries relating to agreed and processed shipping requests
Key responsibilities include:
• Manage all job associated documentation to GMP requirements.
• Track and trace shipments – Manage and react to potential temperature excursions to prevent supplies being jeopardised.
• To provide a central point of contact for day-to-day post study.
• Provide reports to managers showing levels of activity/performance to KPI’s.
• Management responsibility for 2 staff.
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills / experience:
• Previous line management experience.
• Ideally, you will have experience gained within a medical / pharmaceutical environment, although this is not essential.
• Logistics experience is essential.
• Proficient in using all Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Well developed problem solving skills.
• An appreciation of business costs and the impact to client services.
• Knowledge and previous experience in exporting is also required.
