£25,062 - £27,226 Plus Pension (after probation)
Our client is a leading provider of services to disadvantaged and socially isolated families. They work with over 45,000 families a year by providing practical, emotional and financial support through over 100 services based in communities across England. An opportunity has now arisen for a Facilities Co-ordinator to join their team.
This role would suit someone with facilities experience and solid administration skills, looking to further develop in a rewarding environment.
As the Facilities Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for managing the central office and satellite offices, facilities and supplies, including the supervision of cleaners. You will also be accountable for Health & Safety and support the Corporate Services Manager to manage the property portfolio.
Your duties will include:
- supervising the performance of sub-contractors
- negotiating terms with central office suppliers and monitoring contractual arrangements
- assisting with the development of the corporate services budget
- responsibility for Health & Safety at the central office, including conducting risk assessments
- developing corporate services developing the content of the intranet and procedures for new projects/moving premises
To be considered for this position, you must have experience of managing Health & Safety in an office environment and a facilities background. You will also need to demonstrate extensive administrative experience and a track record of supervising contractors.
As the Facilities Co-ordinator you should also have excellent organisational skills, including the ability to work flexibly and under pressure. A real commitment to providing a flexible and responsive service is also essential, as are good IT skills.
