Due to expansion we require a TRAINER for our software / technology solutions for restaurants throughout the UK.
QSR software and hardware - includes kitchen and food order management, cook display and recipe cards, KDS screens and bump bars, walk-in table management and web reservations and FOH (front of house) capacity management enabling restaurants to effectively enhance their productivity and throughput.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation - Sign off the hardware installation work completed on site by engineers. Customise software data sets, minor report configuration post commissioning where required).
Training - prepare site specific program and materials. Deliver training and practical / theory tests to end user clients and assist and monitor the "go-live" (3-5 days at site based on client requirement - night and weekend flexibility required compensated with TOIL).
Ensure smooth transition to new system to minimize post installation support.
In-House
* Give feedback to develop site "profile" post installation.
* Learn new products as and when required.
* Assist with the creation and maintenance of training programs/materials including workbooks and tests.
* Assist with excellent maintenance of site product documentation and CRM records.
Reporting to QSR Project Manager you will work closely alongside colleagues in IT, Training, Logistics and Support.
Requirements and Desired Traits
? Previous experience using or training end-users in similar technology (EPOS orientated)
? Previous experience in Hospitality preferred.
? Excellent communication and people skills
? Candidates must be self-starters to manage own schedules and represent the company at client locations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
? Minimum 3 years similar experience
? Working knowledge of all Windows operating systems, as well as configuring and installing TCP/IP in a LAN environment
Helpful knowledge (training can be provided)
? Basics of SQL Databases to review tables and analyze data and knowledge of Crystal Reports
? Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software using troubleshooting tools, analyzing spreadsheets, log files, etc.
