Quantity Surveyor - Heavy Civil Engineering - East Midlands Salary £32,000 - £37 ,000 + car or allowance + benefits. Location Based in East Midlands [Nottingham / Lincoln / Leicester / South Yorkshire] Role Description A Quantity Surveyor is required to on heavy civil engineering projects based across the East Midlands. Projects can vary from: • Highways both New build and Widening • Bridge deck replacements • Bridge demolition and re-build • Earthworks both excavations and re-enforcement • River works both embankments and flood defence. Your day to day duties can include:- • The measurement and valuation of works (on site and from drawings), for valuations, variations and final accounts; • Agreement of valuation dates and preparing, submitting and agreement of interim valuations in accordance with those dates. • Method of measurement for Highway Work • Specification for Highway Works • Sub Contract and Design Procurement • Submission of Cost Value Reconciliation • Cash draw down Plans • Preparation of cost to complete • Analysis of tender allowances Experience required A qualification is required to support you previous Quantity Surveying experience. Also knowledge of ICE & NEC Conditions of Contract working on Heavy Civil Engineering projects as listed above.
