Job Description: Experience within an engineering manufacturing environment is essential. You will manage a small team within purchasing and stores conduct and assist in all aspects of supply chain function. Being computer literate in Excel, Word and maybe Access with preferable knowledge of Opera II in purchasing, stock control and planning or SAP experience. Your key role will be to assist in managing the department with overseeing the stock control being a primary function. Develop inventory reduction programme and work with managers on ways to improve current stock control and processes. Deal with supply quality issues and development of UK supplier warranty systems. Experience of supply negotiations, progress chasing and scheduling.

Person Specification:
Confident character, previous teamleader/ supervisor role held. Manage and direct a team

Qualifications:
Computer literate with Opera II or SAP experience
