A new 6 month contract opportunity has arisen for an Environmental Test Engineer for the Stevenage area.

Job Requirements

As a member of the Environmental Test team, your duties will include Vibration and Shock testing of Space and Aerospace components. This includes handling and instrumentation of flight equipment. Other duties will include the occasional support of the Thermal Vacuum Test section.

Essential Requirements:

- Good all round engineering knowledge with a mechanical bias.

- Ability to work under the minimum supervision within a small team of test engineers providing a service to internal and external customers in the aerospace industry.

Desirable Requirements:

- HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.

- 2 years hands on experience in vibration and shock testing, preferably in Aerospace environment.

- Working knowledge of MS Office, Vibcontrol, Smartoffice and test data manipulation would be an advantage.
