Job Requirements
This role supports the Submissions Manager to research and draft technical prose for use in pre-qualification and tender stage submissions, and other commercial proposals.
RESEARCH:
* Identify client / internal customer requirements from tender documents / pre-qualification questionnaires / internal submission requests
* Utilise internal knowledge archives, external media e.g. internet, corporate institutions, and other sources of information
* Harness the knowledge of key corporate, commercial and operational staff to supplement existing knowledge
TECHNICAL WRITING:
* Prepare original prose to address questionnaire or submission criteria, in order to ensure that the most effective response is provided
* Create tables, graphs, maps, and illustrations in support of text
* Maintain, review and update standard texts for generic aspects of the business
HEALTH & SAFETY:
* Ensure the Health & Safety of both yourself and your colleagues by compliance with their policies and standards
* Be aware that your acts and omissions could put others at risk and never take short cuts that could compromise health and safety

It is desirable for applicants to have:
* Degree
* Construction-related qualification
* Membership of corporate body
In addition, its is also desirable to have:
* Estimating experience
* Writing for journals, magazines, or newsletters * Use of technical terminology
