Project Engineer – Landing Gears - Excellent international career opportunity!
Permanent role based in North Italy
Basic salary of up to £50K (€50 – 60K) + package
Our client is a high profile and successful provider of a diversified services and products for the Aerospace industry.
With a turnover of €110m and design, manufacturing and support facilities in Europe and Northern America our client has an excellent reputation for quality standards, innovation and investment in people and infrastructure.
Our client is looking to expand their engineering and design team and has created a role for a Project Engineer Landing Gears.
As a member of their highly qualified and experienced team, you will be a key player in delivering the conceptual and detailed design as well as the layout definition of landing gears for helicopters and light jets.
You will be responsible for managing development programs, starting from technical proposal through development, qualification and support to manufacturing. Additionally, you will be responsible for the definition of the architecture and layout of landing gear struts and shock absorbers.
Your strong track record in a similar role has developed your knowledge of the specifications, design and development of aerospace equipments (mechanical and hydraulic).
You have a background in structural and dynamic analysis methodologies and knowledge of CAD (Autocad and Catia V5) and MS Office. Knowledge of MSC.Adams and MSC.Nastran would be a plus.
You have a team oriented working style and excellent communication skills which allow you to liaise with customers in any phase of the technical design project.
