An opportunity has arisen in a multinational technology company involved in the design, development, manufacturing and marketing of high-end microelectronic products.
The responsibilities of the Quality Engineer are as follows:
· To maintain and develop the QMS & EMS to ISO9001 & ISO14001 across multiple sites
· Work with design and project teams to ensure that quality is built in to new products from the design stage
· Ensure compliance with RoHS, WEEE & REACH
· Problem solving, route cause analysis & implementing corrective and preventative actions
· Ensure satisfactory closure of all customer complaints
· Supplier development & auditing
The successful Quality Engineer will have the following skills/experience:
· Educated to HND level in Electronic Engineering / equivalent experience
· Strong quality background in an electronics manufacturing environment
· Experience of maintaining Quality Management Systems to ISO9001
· Conversant with ISO9001 – ISO14001 & ISO17025 are beneficial
· Auditor training – ideally lead auditor
· Strong problem solving skills – 8D, 5Y, Cause & Effect, CAPA, etc.
· NPI experience – APQP, PFMEA, FMEA
· Six Sigma experience is beneficial
· Excellent communication and PC skills
