Trainee Business Development Executive – Graduate Opportunity

Our client is a leading international network of specialist websites. Their largest website is one of the most visited IT recruitment advertising sites in Western Europe. They’re now on the lookout for a bright, ambitious and driven Trainee Business Development Executive to join their London HQ.
This role would suit a tenacious candidate looking to develop their career and earning potential with an industry leader. Excellent training, a great commission scheme and fantastic incentives, including exotic trips away, make this a role not to be missed.
As a Trainee Business Development Executive you’ll be responsible for taking the business to the next level by selling recruitment advertising space on the company’s job board that’s aimed specifically at IT professionals.
The company’s clients already include some of the most prestigious organisations, and your focus will be on identifying, qualifying, pursing and successfully contracting new and repeat business.
Focusing on new business, your duties will include:
- researching clients and competitors, and identifying and calling prospective clients
- booking and attending client meetings
- presenting and selling confidently and professionally to clients
- negotiating deals
To be considered for this position, you must have a 2:1 or 1st class degree (or equivalent) coupled with a proven extracurricular track record, such as sporting or music excellence, running your own business or leading a society.

Additionally, you will also need to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a professional work ethic and the desire to be the best. You should also be keen to learn and develop a long term career in sales.
