Monitoring and Process Project Manager

My client based in Chelmsford are looking for a strong project manager to join their operations based team. My client offers excellent benefits and a very good working environment. It is essential for this position that you have previous Financial Services/Fund Management experience.
This role is primarily responsible for working with such departments as reconciliations, compliance and management information teams. This area looks after all of the regulations, procedures and controls of the daily business of my client. You will work very closely with all other operations teams and you must have excellent communication and influencing skills. You will be responsible for all the projects within this area and you will ideally have project life cycle experience and Prince2 but this is not essential.
You should be used to presenting your findings to senior management and be able to demonstrate your capabilities on your CV. You will be required to put cases together on your findings and results and show that you can roll out any new policies and procedures into the business as required. You will report into the Senior Operations Manager of this section of business and you must be confident enough to communicate at all levels. You will be responsible for communicating with share holders and any influential clients regarding changes or events within the investment industry and dealing with any projects behind this. You will also be chairing meetings to obtain agreements on changes across all operations departments.
To be considered for this position you will need to have investment product knowledge particularly ISAs and collectives. If you have Peps, Bonds, Pensions and SIPPS this would stand you at a strong advantage but these are not essential. You will ideally be educated to at least A level and you must have very good written skills.
