Position: New Product Development Manager / NPD Manager / Quality Manager / Technical Manager
Location: Yeovil, Frome, Bournemouth, Salisbury area
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Benefits: 20 days holiday, company pension, company car and other benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm (flexibility required)
Operating within a high speed manufacturing environment, we are looking to recruit a New Product Development Manager.
About the Company:-
We manufacture a range of chilled products 24/7 to all the major supermarkets and have staff numbers reaching in excess of 50 on site. The environment is very clean, friendly, fast paced, modern (machines) and challenging.
We have some very exciting changes happening in the near future which will include a multi million pound project to extend the site, double production and convert waste into renewable energy.

Your duties will be:-
·Work closely with the site technical Director and Sales Manager
·Plan and manage the development of new products
·Proactively manage KPI’s
·Liaise with customers
·Assist with the management of the Technical, Hygiene and Quality Assurance activities and procedures necessary and appropriate to ensure compliance with company, customer and legal requirements.
·Attend daily/weekly operations meeting.
To be considered candidates must have the following:-
·A minimum of 3 years Technical/Quality Assurance management experience, ideally gained within a major food manufacturing business
·Food manufacturing experience
·Customer facing experience
