Position: Maintenance Engineer / Shift Engineer
Location: Ashford, Canterbury, Folkestone
Salary: £28,000 - 31,000 per annum + enhanced earnings with overtime + contributory pension + 20 days holiday + Life Assurance
Hours: Continental Shifts (12 hours) rotating between nights and days

A leading global manufacturer is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to be apart of a growing Engineering team. My client manufactures a variety of short shelf life products that are produced in vast quantities and need Engineers that can respond quickly to all breakdowns as it is paramount to get the machine/production line back up and running as soon as possible whether it be a temporary fix or a full repair. Other than breakdowns, Engineers work to a planned preventative maintenance schedule, working through projects and carrying out building maintenance.
You can expect the environment to be modern, clean, fast and exciting. They have had many investments that were used in extending the site, updating and bringing in new machines onsite.
My client looks for career motivated Engineers who have or are looking to develop their skills in both mechanical and electrical engineering.
You may also have the opportunity to further your qualifications to become a qualified Multi Skilled Engineer.
Candidates:
Applicants will need to be a Maintenance Engineer / Production Engineer, have experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment (PLC operated machines) and be educated in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Time Served or City and Guilds or ONC or HNC
